truthbox is an immersive hip-hop jukebox: a curated set of tracks, each placed inside its own audio-reactive visual world. Every song gets custom tweaks to the colors, effects, and background media that shape how it feels inside the device.
It is intentionally more art piece than product. The point is to give artists a cool wrapper for their music, help more people hear it, and create a little cross-pollination between artists.
Technically, it plays audio, analyzes frequency amplitudes in real time, and uses that signal to push trippy browser visuals forward. Spiritually, it is an homage to the Windows XP media player visualizer and the simple pleasure of watching sound turn into motion.
